Terms of Service

LOCAL is a neighborhood-enablement platform that helps residents of Bharat discover local services, NGOs, deals, opportunities and hyper-local news. LOCAL is a technology platform and marketplace connector — the actual product, service or donation is provided by the respective independent Provider or organization, not by LOCAL.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. Keep your credentials secure. You must be able to form a binding contract to transact.

Providers and NGOs must publish truthful information, including their Community Impact description. You retain ownership of content you submit but grant LOCAL a licence to display and distribute it on the platform. We may remove content that is misleading, unlawful or violates these terms.

Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g. Razorpay). LOCAL Points, referrals, PRO and Membership benefits are governed by their in-app descriptions and may change. Fees, where applicable, are shown before you pay.

No spam, scraping, fraud, harassment, impersonation, or attempts to disrupt the platform. Do not misuse the emergency or NGO features. Verify any provider or organization before transacting or donating.

LOCAL is not a party to transactions between you and a Provider or NGO and is not liable for their acts, omissions, quality or outcomes. The platform is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, LOCAL's liability is limited.

LOCAL may display advertising, including Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used and how to opt out.

We may update these terms or suspend accounts that violate them. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
